EVENTS MAY 2004 Montone Film Festival 2004 "Beautiful and Invisible" The following information has been provided by Marisa Berna. This series of four films is entitled "Beautiful and Invisible", and is dedicated to international and national films that for some obscure reason have not been shown or distributed in Umbria. The films are in English with Italian subtitles and viceversa. When it is possible an expert will be present. To make the viewing of the film all the more enjoyable a dinner will follow, thus giving us all the possibility to continue to discuss the film and for you to participate actively in the preparation of next year's Film Festival 2003. The first film of the festival has already been shown, on Friday 26 March. It was TANDEM, directed by Patrice Leconte. Leconte is considered one of the best European directors. In Italy it has not had a good distribution. However, it has had enormous success in France and everywhere in the world. The next films to be shown are:

Local furniture companies show off their goods and its an excellent place to see what's available, compare prices and talk to the makers. Take the old road north out of Citta di Castello towards San Giustino, and about a kilometre after the roundabout with a garden centre on the corner look out for a sign for SMAI on the left. Take this road and follow the signs.
